Teaching happens everywhere at Shadowlawn. Here is our very own custodian, Mr. Wade, teaching the students in Mrs. Nabors' class all about his archeological adventures! Mr. Wade came into the classroom with an impressive collection of Native American arrowheads, sharks teeth and even a spearhead made from a mineral that changes color. He told the students that he started digging around in the dirt here in Clay County when he was just a child. All of his artifacts were found right near our very own Black Creek. When Mr. Wade found his most impressive spearhead, he wasn't even looking for treasure! It just appeared in the creek and seemed to call out to him, after that, he was hooked! Just one more example of how Shadowlawn is Falcon Strong.
